DJ E Double, born Eric Pinkney and also known as DJ E-Dub DaGeneral and E Platinum, is a Jersey City DJ celebrated as the Prince of Jersey -- one of the city's most prominent mixtape and club DJs of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

In 1995 he founded his entertainment brand DpEnt. (Double Platinum Entertainment), which became the foundation for his promotions, party hosting, and mixtape distribution across the East Coast.
Through the early 2000s he built a reputation for signature blends, club mixes, and custom tracks defining North Jersey's urban nightlife, with residencies at Rendezvous (formerly Ruthie's), Lollipop, Taste, Brenda's, and Bills.
He is interviewed in the 2006 WizTV documentary, where he gives a shoutout to the Killa K family, documenting the social fabric of the scene.
His daughter performs as DJ She Dog, making him part of a family lineage in the city's DJ tradition.
He was the founder and head of Double Platinum Entertainment. The crew's members included Greenbean, Thunderkatt, Smurfet, DJ Q, DJ DYCE, Deejay Luchionney, DJ Walleykatt, DJ DX (Double X), and Exclusive (R.I.P Jamie).
He is a nephew of Lord Sun Albee Al, founder of the pioneering crew Sweet Slick and Slide, and a cousin of the rapper Albee Al and DJ Thunderkatt — tying him to one of Chilltown's foundational hip-hop families.
His Double Platinum mixtape series ran deep into the catalog, with surviving tapes including volumes 21, 33, 36, and 41; volume 41 paired him with Jersey City's Joe Budden as E-Platinum Double on Desert Storm Records.
His collaborations on tape include The Red Tape with DJ Q for Dream Team Entertainment and Double Threat with DJ 007, released with a party at the Boys and Girls Club.
In 2002 he hosted the street album HEAT (Tell Em We Coming) featuring Murda, Big Panic, and Crisis, promoted with a Jersey Journal styled front page announcing it in stores June 1, 2002.
