Wiztv — formerly billed as DJ Wizard, born John Freeman — is a Jersey City DJ, videographer, and documentarian who has been archiving the city's music scene on video since at least 2006.

He directed and produced 'WizTV Presents: The Jersey City DJ Documentary Vol. 1' (2006), a nearly three-hour document of Jersey City's mixtape DJ scene that remains the primary visual record of that era.
He is the producer of the Jersey Club Blends mixtape series, including Vol. 3 (2017), and created a blend with DJ Sliink titled 'Not Gunna Get Us' that circulated widely on SoundCloud.
He built the WizTV video platforms — long a leading source for Jersey club party and sweet-sixteen footage across New Jersey — and, to preserve and properly credit the culture, has moved his video archive from YouTube to Patreon.
As of 2026, he is producing a new WizTV Jersey Club Documentary, with Part 1 previewed via Patreon and Instagram, continuing his role as the scene's primary visual historian.
Widely recognized as the originator of visual coverage for Jersey club culture, he was the first and most consistent figure to document the scene from the inside — capturing party energy, dancers, DJs, and promoters across New Jersey long before social media or viral dance platforms existed.
As a videographer and director he is regarded as a pioneer to Newark’s Jersey club DJs, whose parties, sets, and battles he filmed and preserved as the movement lived and breathed on dance floors.
