Orlando Wharton is a music executive who came up through Jersey City's early-2000s scene, beginning his career managing his close friends — the rappers Ransom and Hitchcock of the duo The A-Team.

Known in that era as "Orlando" or "Whartonberg," he built the Presidential Crew and its production arm, Presidential Beats, around the city's independent mixtape run.
After Ransom's incarceration and the death of affiliate Stack Bundles, Wharton stepped away from music before returning as an A&R executive — rising to Executive Vice President at Capitol Music Group and President of Priority Records.
As an A&R he is credited with discovering and signing a generation of stars, including Kodak Black, Fetty Wap, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and XXXTentacion.
