TGK were a mid-1990s hip-hop group whose known release, the single and EP “Avenue Ride,” came out in 1995 on Catamount Records — Stan Krause's Jersey City label — in a co-release with Trumpet Records.

Issued on a 12-inch vinyl and a CD single dated November 4, 1995, the record collected several mixes of the song, among them a Radio Version, a Long Street Version, and the Spider D Club Mix.
The release places the group in the Jersey City lineage of Catamount and Trumpet, the small local labels through which much of the city's street-level talent was issued; biographical detail on the individual members is scarce and is not printed here pending a primary source.
