Latee is a Jersey City rapper and an original member of the Flavor Unit, the influential North Jersey hip-hop collective alongside The 45 King, Lakim Shabazz, Chill Rob G, and Queen Latifah.

He came up in the city's late-1980s scene with fellow Jersey City rappers Apache and Chill Rob G, with whom he formed early ties in high school.
Working with producer The 45 King, he recorded early Flavor Unit singles including “This Cut's Got Flavor” (1988), among the records that helped establish the crew's sound.
