Dino Danelli (born Robert Daniel, July 23, 1944 -- December 15, 2022) was an American drummer and an original member of the Young Rascals, the rock group whose sound defined a moment of 1960s blue-eyed soul.
In the Record§
He has been called 'one of the great unappreciated rock drummers in history', a reputation built on his technical command and his ability to hold the Rascals' hybrid of soul, gospel, and rock together.
